When you book with an on-line travel agent, you’ll receive a confirmation of the booking. One to two weeks (does vary) before your arrival date you’ll receive a “Getting here” guide and a “Guide to the apartment”, and a few days before your arrival you’ll receive the final instructions for access to the apartment. Brilliant cosy attic flat, The views over the town, kames bay and out to Arran ar just stunning. We visited in November, and had one very stormy night, but the flat was so warm and inviting. Really good lighting and furniture arrangement to help capture the magnificent views , even at night.

Ailsa’s attic flat is worth every one of the 38 winding steps up: what a view!! It has to be the best view in Millport, overlooking Kames Bay across to Arran, constantly changing with weather, tides and lighting. We could sit in the comfy chairs in the clean, warm flat all day if the walks and cycle rides on the island didn’t tempt us out so much. Beds and sofa bed were very comfortable and everything was very organised and space-efficient. Plenty of room in the shed for our three bikes too. Thank you!

The Lookout was the perfect spot to spend a few days hiking, reading and staring at the sea. The flat has everything you need for a short trip and the views were amazing.
Would really recommend for people travelling via public transport as Millport is incredibly accessible without a car.
